Bars 17-24: This is your very first section of hard track. All house music is based on the 8 bar loop. Bare minimum there should always be some kind of fill on the 8th bar of every section. This is where you bring in your first layer of additional instrumentation into the mix.

Bars 25-32: Repeat bars 17-24 with slight variation on the fill for bars 28 and 32.

Bars 33-40: Repeat bars 17-24 verbatim

Bars 41-48: Repeat bars 25-32 verbatim

FIRST BREAK:
Bars 49-56: This is the first 8 bar section. This is a very hard part to write because you have to transition from the first 32bar section of hard track into the second section of the break where you drive the crowd into a frenzy. You need to deviate enough to let people know something is coming, but you cannot go too far or you lose the energy. This is where you start building the tension.

Bars 57-64: This is where you drop out the kick drum, break into a more complex rhythm and introduce the next set of weird noise that are going to be the hook for your track. It should build up in two bar units 2-4-6-8 so that by the last two bars of the break the crowd is about to explode.

SECOND SECTION OF HARD TRACK:

Bars 65-104: This is where you drop whatever hook you have come up with to really bring the track into gear. This is basically two 32 bar section pasted back to back. This is where you track it out and let the groove work. The same structure that you used on the first section of hard track applies, but you will want to think about using other sonic tricks to keep peoples ears.

FIRST MIX OUT SECTION:
Bars 105-120: You have just beaten the crowd over the head with the main theme and your first set of production tricks, you need to give the crowd a half minute to catch their breath or give the DJ a chance to mix out into the next record. The arrangement becomes sparse again, and you make it easy for another similiar record to overlap with this section so that the DJ can seamlessly mix out of this record. This is basically the second break, but it is just a stripped down version of the first hard track section. You might want to introduce a new theme here that will be carried out in the next section of hard track, but the main idea is to keep it simple and sparse.

SECOND HARD TRACK SECTION:
Bars 121-184: This section works just like the first section of Hard Track, but with a slightly different hook and a different set of production tricks. You want this section to have a little more punch than the first section in order to justify the second repetition of the track.

SECOND MIX OUT SECTION:
Bars 185-200: This works exactly the same as the first section, but is a little more complicated because it needs to lead into the next section which is:

SECOND BREAK SECTION:
Bars 201-216: Works just like the first break section, but it needs to be even more spectacular because the crowd has already been listening to this record for the last 5 minutes. You need to bear in mind that a beginner DJ may have already flubbed the mix on the last two mix out sections and is starting to sweat it a little.

THIRD HARD TRACK SECTION:
Bars 217-280: This is the last section of Hard Track and this is where you pull out everything you have got to make this track storm.
This track has already been playing for six minutes, so you have got to hit them with the best variation of the theme.

FINAL MIX OUT SECTION:
Bars 281-312: This is the outro for a dance record. You just state the basic theme of the record and make the mix sparse and kick drum heavy so that it is easy to mix out of.

Aikido is NOT a combat sport. It's not a sport at all. If anyone has represented it this way to you, they were mistaken. Aikido is the study of the circle. It's a study of motion. It is a thought exercise. What you keep wanting to compare with combat systems is one of many systems a martial artist might study on the way to being a complete martial artist. It, in and of itself, is not meant to secure your place in a contest of martial prowess and, in Japan, it is not marketed this way. You see, the Japanese take things to the nth degree. Yes, believe it or not, one guy designed an entire system dedicated to learning how your opponent moves, the physics that governs his body, if you will. You continue to make a comparison of an apple to an Orange tree. The physical art is an expression of what is inside your mind. This art builds the mind so the art you express physically will be more "one with the universe" or "one with physics". It is not a directly applicable way to whip somebody's ass unless they are your average guy on the street who's angry and over applying his energy all over the place. But that doesn't invalidate the quality of the information.

All those guys falling down, they are practicing their Ukemi. That falling they do. That recognition of energy is just part of the training. It's all drills. You play both sides for an appreciation of both sides. And yes, you hit the nail on the head, it's just one more way to learn how to fall really well, but there's an art to it and a point of mastery that, to the Japanese is entirely worth pursuing.

Now, in addition, you go study your Judo and Jujitsu. You take the knowledge from your studies of motion and apply it by locking and throwing, you learn their versions of wrestling.  NOW you're ready for a fight.

Regarding the lessons you will teach your sons, about not trusting white people. I gave some similar lessons to my sons. However, I would recommend an adjustment. I told them don't trust RICH white people. They'll always value themselves over you. Be wary, but it doesn't mean you can't be their friends. Not all friends are perfect. Some of your asshole friends will teach you the most interesting and meaningful lessons in your life, just don't trust them too much. HOWEVER, it's not because they are white, it's because they are opportunistic hustlers. Hunters, just like when they were cave men. It's always a fight to get above the rest. In their heads they aren't trying to keep anybody down. They are seeing opportunity and taking it.

I also told them don't trust black folk around your stuff or your girlfriend. It's not that they are bad, it's because they are opportunistic hustlers. In their heads they aren't trying to keep anybody down, they are trying to improve that girls sex life. They are seeing opportunity and taking it. Again, be wary, but they can still be your friends. In return, black folk will push you to enjoy yourself (party). They push you to express yourself with music and dancing, and they push you to better yourself in competition.

So the Vox has this article. I got about 100 words into it and I could tell what was coming. I really don't want to hear a silly liberal sob story that I'm sure that article is, so I'm just going to get started.

A message to the American woman. STOP crying sexual harassment unless the guy has gone beyond persistent well into very annoying. An aggressive come on, from ANY man, is NOT sexual harassment. Harassment is WAAAAAY later. If you're cornered by some high powered male that's used to taking home cute young girls impressed by his power, you might feel his technique is brash. Hello Sir,

I hope this message finds you well and enjoying our wonderful Michigan weather.

Sir, I'm writing to follow up on years of writing to Mr. Moolenar on this topic: ISPs and Cable companies screwing the people of Michigan.

I told Mr. Moolenar in the past that the cable companies and ISPs in the United States are being outed and often sued nationwide over anti-competitive practices and Michigan is no different. I told him it would get worse soon if we let them write our latest legislation like has been proven in Tennessee and Kentucky and dozens of other states.

You see, ISPs want to have their cake and to eat it too; they don't want to upgrade or deploy broadband into low ROI areas, but they don't want others to either. And they certainly don't want added outside pressure disrupting the good thing (read: duopoly regulatory capture resulting in no competition and higher rates) they've enjoyed for fifteen years. While companies like AT&T could deter towns and cities from looking for creative alternatives by offering better, cheaper service, it's much less expensive to throw money at accessible lawmakers who, with the help of groups like ALEC, craft and pass laws protecting the duopoly status quo and keeping competitors out.

And while this process has played out in dozens of states repeatedly over the last fifteen years (more than twenty states have let ISPs write similar state laws), our own Michelle Hoitenga's lack of experience recently provided a closer look at the often-grotesque process. Hoitenga doesn't appear to even remotely understand how the broadband industry works, from her belief that Michigan residents have 37 different ISPs to choose from, to her argument that letting giant ISPs dictate what locals can do in their own communities somehow...helps the little guy?

Sir, all I can say is, "what is this clueless woman doing legislating on something she doesn't seem to know anything about, as soon as she comes on the scene?"

Add to that, Campaign finance records show that two of her largest campaign contributors are AT&T Michigan and the Telecommunications Association of Michigan (TAM): AT&T gave her campaign money while TAM provided her with fairly large amounts for a first term state representative. The Michigan Cable Telecommunications Association — a separate entity from TAM — ALSO gave to her campaign.

According to state lobbying records reviewed by IBT, Hoitenga met and dined with TAM lobbyists during the first half of the year. Michigan’s lobbying disclosures are filed every six months, so it is currently unknown if TAM lobbyists has met with Hoitenga since June. The $142.82 spent to take Hoitenga out for a meal appears to be the only food and beverage expense TAM has disclosed in conjunction with its lobbying since 2001 , as far back as online lobbying records go.

The big picture, Sir, is that these companies have been systematically raping Americans for decades. Comcast now charges me a MINIMUM $75 for an internet connection that they then throttle based on what "kind" of internet traffic I use. They charge me another $75 just to get the THREE CHANNELS my family cares about that are purposefully separated across packages to force adoption of higher pricing. All while my cable guide is flooded with a TON of shit I don't want or need. Literally a thousand channels? Of crap? Hell, it's a challenge to find channels I DO have access to and my bill is a total $150+ a month. 1000 channels of shit programming and that's not to mention that every damn show I let my 12 year old watch has to stretch the boundaries of the American moral fabric with the LBGTQ+ agenda. Supergirl is now GAY! I have to explain THAT FAR sooner than I ever wanted to. Thank you cable company, NOT!

Then, this spring, after 25 years as a customer using up to 3 Terabytes a month, even back in 02 when they only gave you 12Megabits per second, I am now charged $50 DOLLARS for 50GB after going over 1TB in a month, just because, MONEY. (And I price and build these kind of networks, it's money. They are making it hand over fist. There is nothing driving increases but greed.That "fee" is at a rate greater than 5 times higher than what they charged me for the first 1000GBs)

They will give me blazing speeds to stream content at far higher bandwidth than any person actually needs (again wasting my now capped monthly bandwidth allotment), as long as Netflix pays them, for more money. They are literally invading our privacy by monitoring every site every member of my family goes to and selling our private personal habits and detailed information about our browsing and purchase for...wait for it...MORE money! Hell, these god damn companies make 32BILLION per QUARTER!!!!!!!! ...and they apparently have teams dedicated to dreaming up ever more creative and right impinging ways to squeeze even MORE money out of their customers, and they are lobbying NOW to make it so cities with shitty connectivity can't even GET a company to come in and do better. This is NUTS. It's even MORE nuts that our own government leaders are the ones getting these laws put in place.

I've said it for over a decade that we have already been screwed and they are going to tighten them. Here they are trying to tighten them right in front our face! With a FRESHMAN legislator no less. Do you think her platform had ANYTHING to do with "protecting those poor telcos in Michigan from competition?" It is literally STUPID to let them WRITE the legislation that screws your people. Please do something about this.

Finally, before I leave you, I'll tell you the same thing I told Mr. Moolenaar, I WANT TO HEAR YOU. I watch and I listen. If you are speaking out, if you are making yourself known, if you are looking out for the people of Michigan, I'll know it and I'll tell EVERYBODY how good a job you're doing, in person, not anonymously on the net. So I went to watch American Horror Story: Cult episode 4 on FX today. I went to my trusty on demand that I pay $150 bucks a month for and search for my favorite show. I find it!

"Alright!", I say. Seriously, I'm hopeful at this point.

I find the episodes: 1, 2, 3... all free because I PAY FOR THE RIGHT TO WATCH FX! But, I notice that it's free if I have FX or FX+. I think to myself, "they must have a pay to stream service". I still felt good, I pay more because I do like FX. More than just AHS.

But that was really forshadowing because, you guessed it, not motherfucking NUMBER 4! These assholes want me to go get FX+ to see episode 4 on demand on the DVR I pay extra for, on the HD i pay extra for, on the PACKAGE I PAY EXTRA FOR BECAUSE IT HAS AMC AND FUCKING FX!

The first episode of the Podcast Yet to Be Named was named "Fuck a Pilot". I thought this was simply an incredible title. Kudos to the guys for coming up with it. Even though they are all young and would have no idea what kudos means. Odd to be working with the next generation but I have to admit it is somewhat refreshing.

I can't tell you where to check it out yet. That is forthcoming. However, I have started to learn video editing in order to get the quality of product up to a certain level right away. I read today that Mr. Pompeo feels that a certain (in)famous leak site is an enemy of the state.

I believe very strongly that sites like Wikileaks, and people like Snowden, serve a role. It's a shitty role. Don't get me wrong, it's not getting them anything but grief. But we need them to balance out the people we've put in charge of our intelligence concerns because those folks WILL, and I mean absolutely 100% WILL, abuse their power some percentage of the time. Not all the time. I like to hope not most of the time, but they will.

Let me elaborate. They've got power. Lot's of power. I expect they exercise it about 40% of the time to protect the country in general, you know, to actually protect the citizens of the United States. About 30% of the time their efforts are directly related to protect the powers that run this country, as opposed to it's citizenry. I mean VIPs, companies, senators, etc. However, about 20% of their time, they are engaged in activities to further the goals of the entrenched. What they have lately come to call the "deepstate". Those people that are not elected, very loyal to themselves and very willing to use their capabilities to further their agenda and maintain their grip on the American citizenry...global citizenry.

What to remember at this point, now that we've got it out on the table, is that we expect this. I have to assume the founding fathers not only expected power plays and shadow groups, they themselves were plotting their own methods of power grabbing early on. So what? Welcome to the real world where every person on the planet is trying to get a leg up. Get over it.

What is important is how you deal with such a fact. Do you try and pretend it's not happening? Do you let those intelligence organizations go hunt down these awesome 3rd party auditors? Hell NO! You support that third party. Keep up the good work! Give em a grant. As I see it, outside the city we use our guns for fun (target practice), hunting and home defense most of the time. In the city, well, there are a lot more self defense opportunities. There are a LOT more "irrational gun owner" incidents. There are a LOT more "irrational UNREGISTERED gun owner" incidents because there are a LOT more unregistered GUNS. Cities aren't the ONLY problem though. Plenty of suburbs and even some rural areas are infected with silly fucks who go to extremes. I expect anywhere there is a serious meth problem, for example, will have increased rates of all of the above.
2nd - "The issue isn't guns, it's mental health" - Every person that shoots someone for a reason other than self-defense...probably has some mental issues. And LADY, we have gun homicide rates higher than EVERY country in the world because WE HAVE GUNS! It's hard to get a gun in Germany, Iceland. We have almost 3 times as many guns per person as any other country in the world.
3rd - "Having guns on college campus' will decrease sexual assault." - I honestly believe that's the truth. If a young woman is trained to use and care for her weapon, especially in the presence of others, she is formidable when armed. As well she has a high chance of NOT hurting anyone inappropriately with her weapon. Girls are NOT dumb and they are fully capable when trained appropriately. I have to think rapes would get a whole let less common REAL quick after the first shooting. Maybe the ad campaign letting campus know there are free gun lessons for women wouldn't but that first shooting definitely would. Oh, and stopping sexual assault before it occurs? That's MENTAL HEALTH too! We don't need better gun laws, we need to get on this "help the folks with mental health issues" band wagon. Free anger management and gun training in the inner cities!
4th - "Sandy Hook is a hoax" -This is childish to even bring up in a serious conversation. Douche.

I can see the panel is intelligent. It seems like these three organizations have good intentions even. But the issues don't stem FROM guns. The gun violence is a symptom of an underlying inability for certain people to handle their problems without going to extremes.

So, a recent poll tells us that 32% of Californians want to secede from the US. To me this is a case in point to what I've been saying for years. California is where all the selfish people who don't fit in with their family go to get attention. And that attention pays very well, with money from where...? THE REST OF THE United States!

Everyone has the right to voice their opinion. When pollsters voice their opinion by running around selecting people to poll the way they want them to poll...well that just not acceptable. We are lucky that I'm not in charge. I would make their lives a living hell for suggesting such a thing.

As a matter of fact. I think the whole point of this thread just changed! I would be a DAMN good dictator! I mean, I would make my country fucking AWESOME. Now, don't get me wrong, it wouldn't be all that much different from American today. I present to you, the Articles of Tankdom:

We would have very similar gun laws.
- I think they are fine with some adjustments
- There would be mandatory classes and an assessment of some kind before owning a gun.
- I have more ideas but it's a list.
We would let the gays be gay.
- I have no issues with fags other than when they shove it on me, or my kids. Same with vegans, don't mind em until they start preaching.
- I would keep schlong off TV and movies, period. Little girls AND little boys do NOT need to risk being embarrassed, or titillated, by schlong on TV. It shouldn't be something we have to worry about as American parents. Whatever happened to X rated?
Schools would ROCK
- Teachers would be required to be retired from some other job. Young wanna be teachers can be teachers ASSISTANTS.
- School would be taught through EXPERIENCE, not wrote learning.
- Everyone else continues to experience through a combination of practical application and class based learning to absorb math, science, history, writing AND art AND dancing. Electives GALORE!
- Look early for doctors, scientists, nerds, dorks, hackers, startuppers, phreakers and future internet gaming phenoms.
- Fine, some families are athletic addicted. Leave sports to parks and rec though. Kids should come to school for school and to learn about life and learn a trade. Parents are going to push their kids. Might as well support the ones with that interest as a group and save the money coming at it that way. Parks and Rec.
- Fine, some families just want attention. They believe their kids are destined to Hollywood so treat acting like a sport as above. City theatre?
Trade would be similar to today, sort of
- I like the idea of the market. It kind of reflects western culture and I'm not out to change the culture. I'm out to enable as many Americans as I can to get as rich as they can, be as happy as they can and be as nice as they can.

How would we do this you ask? Great question. I will use education as an example.

This is the modern age. Each State will be measured quarterly by a team of experts that will look at well designed and well publicized metrics. Standard stuff in the corporate world. This is not hard, especially now that it can be done with software as a service run in the cloud.

We will laud everyone for their successes and leave with a list of gaps we're shooting for next period. We will fail early and probably fail often but we will get better every 3 months. Project management methodologies will be used to help each State implement THEIR plans on how to achieve the metric goals. That same tool and those same methodologies will be provided free of charge to all states if they are willing to use it. No strings. We would give them a model but not demand that they use it. Only that they meet the metrics.

Now, to get those metrics we have to know the requirements. And those are NOT simple for the education system. In MY version they are remarkably esoteric and hard to measure. Let's look at this from the ground up.

Requirements:
Kids should be happy.
Kids should be getting smarter every day.
Kids should be getting nicer every day.
Kids should be getting healthier every day.
Kids should be taught conflict resolution skills for handling the reality of their very different home lives.
Kids should be taught that not being straight is ok, but we shouldn't bring too much of our sexuality in public, straight or gay.
Kids should be taught that it's ok to be sexy but, again, we shouldn't bring too much of it into our public social lives.
Kids should be taught by experiencing the topic at hand. Math, for example, should be taught as a component of science activities. Measuring and calculating are inherent skills in 1000's of activities children could engage in.
Kids should be taught a base curriculum alongside real world skills. Billiards teaches geometry. Save Trig for the kids that want to take Trig.
Kids should be actively engaged in the hallways, before and after school and at sports later, by a plethora of student teachers to invade their areas and their clicks and their social groups. There should be no opportunity in a 6-8 hour school day for a group of children to be left alone to their own devices and things like bullying occur without an older, more mature human, to weigh in. This is where a bunch of silly behavior can be stymied every time it starts. And don't get me wrong. We WANT it to start. We can't teach them if they aren't allowed to make the mistake. I'm saying we are never too far away to be involved in the early stages where it can be headed off and a learning moment created for the bully AND the victim. Victim, don't take her shit. Bully, that's not fuckin cool. Don't be a dick.
Kids will be taught not to be a DICK. It's just not cool. We're a country of cool cats. We don't need violence and bullshit ruling our lives. See rule above - Kids will be getting nicer every day.
Kids should be taught the 12 steps and the 7 habits without being told they are the steps or habits.

Whoa, that gets long. Those are user stories. I need "this" to happen every day, or "that" to be a certain way. It's a good start. Obviously I'm using Education as an example but you get the picture.

So, finally we get to the metrics. Those all important measurements of our success. The most important thing here is to have good metrics. After that is publish your metrics and own them. It's a recurring responsibility and takes away a lot of the wishy washy-ness that happens in the real world. People just don't want to own up. You have to make owning up part of the job.

Metrics are the tests of each user story so this can get hard:
happiness = average student satisfaction survey response (a program to address outliers and "all 1's")
smarter = average student assessment rating from classes (programs for outliers focused on understanding underlying issues, not on improving the rating directly)
nicer = average student teacher rating (programs that help dicks get nicer without telling them they are in a program)

Those are just some examples. Now, are you seeing where all the student teachers come in? Really they are like upper classmen. As a matter of fact, it's important to impress upon the kids that part of what they do is teach the younger kids. It will make them natural big brothers and big sisters and a good portion of the girls will be very enthusiastic about a teaching career.

By setting the "upper classmen" in place in every nook and cranny of the building they will get a really good "feel" for what's going on. Remember the older kids get the more they push their boundaries. It's ok. That's how we want them really. Struggling to find chinks in our armor and loopholes in our rules is what we want to see because that means they will be strong citizens capable of fighting for their family on a number of levels.

Honestly, education is one of the hardest, and we are nowhere near the final metrics, but that's a good start. We would be SOOO productive if I was in charge!

Douchebags in the press keep saying he's lying. They don't allude to any proof of their own. They just point to one or more other sites that really don't PROVE anything at all. Yet their verbiage is totally confident and so their retard readers are totally confident too. I have to talk to them every day.

I have to beware of a legion of assholes with no jobs and parents paying half their rent who think it's ok to troll me over every thing I say. This weekend President Trump instituted a 90 day moratorium on travelers from a number of failed States. I find this interesting in a number of ways:

First, it was a surprise to most people. They purposely asked, and told, nobody about this. That tells me that they feel the same way I do. Corruption and factionism and just plain selfishness abound in the current Government populace. The fact is, a week's notice would have resulted in a mass influx of people before the moratorium went into place. When governing this country is a war in and of itself, loose lips most definitely sink ships. I like the secrecy.

Second, it was well thought out, a 90 day halt to people coming from countries we CLEARLY do not trust. Some time is necessary to get a handle on who IS in the country and who isn't before a controlled flow can be established.

See, you have to remember, most things in Government are planned by the underlings. Directed by the big dogs but planned and executed by underlings none the less. Underlings do not think about a big picture. Underlings usually satisfy the requirements and go home at night. It should NEVER have been handled that way, but it was. By implementing an immediate stay we have time to put a stop to any willy-nilly-ness for now while the policies, standards and procedures are assessed and augmented.

A lot of people are just up in arms about this but, to me, it makes sense in the context of a leader walking into an environment that has been mishandled for years. Security is a concern. You wouldn't own a building and not lock the door. You'll end up with people squatting in your space and consuming resources without warning or worse abusing and destroying it's facilities. We can at least have a "pretty open" door policy limiting only those inclined to squat or destroy. Thereby 109 people were detained at airports and thousands of understandably pissed people descended on the airports. Understandably but, not in the right. Can you imagine trying to get through TSA with this shit going on? How many people were negatively impacted when 2000 people, that shouldn't be there, are crowding O'Hare's outbound area? All because 18 people are being detained. We could have had as many Americans with shampoo bottles .5oz too big that day.

New The grade? I think a B+. The move was awesome. But they should have had vetted personnel on site at the airports ready to guide Homeland Security through the surprise. It would have actually been pretty awesome to hear that "Homeland Security didn't know about the change until that afternoon but the Trump administration had brilliantly placed personnel on site to assist in handling the knew procedures"!

To the Trump administration, I told you guys on the twitter, I consult. Just let me sit in on the meetings and I can bring value. It might seem sparse, you ARE professionals I shouldn't have to teach you much, but the value is real.
